Sagingan Festival is a feast in honor of San Isidro Labrador held every 17th of October at Tubod, Lanao Del Norte This festival is a thanksgiving celebration for rich harvest of the fruit. Participants in this event wears costumes made of Banana.In thanksgiving for the earth’s bounty, Tubod holds the Sagingan Festival. A street dancing contest and agro-industrial trade fair are the high points. Sagingan refers to a banana farm; saging means banana, the town’s chief product.

A well-known story tells of a woman who was saved from drowning by a floating cross which is presumed to be the Holy Cross of Wawa.
